As soon as we arrived, Kaedyn, Kylie and Corbin headed straight to the playground with Papa (my dad).
Here's Papa helping Kylie cross the monkey bars.
Kylie and Corbin
Kylie really enjoyed this swing. It looks relaxing, huh?
Kaedyn, on the other hand, likes the "big boy swings."
Kaedyn and Kylie raced down the double slide while Corbin cheered them on.
After the playground, the kids ate a quick bite and then we all went to the pool. They were mostly excited for this part of the day. Both my kids love the water, but I guess that comes naturally. My dad and I are both experienced swimmers. In fact, my dad went to college on a swimming scholarship and I lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons for nearly 4 years in high school. I still enjoy teaching lessons, but just don't have the time for it anymore. Maybe I can get back into it after I finish my nursing degree and have more time.
I had to hold them off long enough to snap a quick photo before they "dove" in! See, they really do love each other, even though they don't always show it.
Okay, okay, go get in. No more pictures.
Well, maybe a few more! =)
This slide was a big hit. I think they each went down atleast a hundred times.
Kylie slid down pretty fast. This photo was hard to capture.
Kaedyn, Kylie and Corbin mostly stuck together in the water.
The floating animals were tons of fun too.
Kaedyn had to help Kylie get up there. What a good big brother he is!
Once she was up, she didn't want to get off.
Even Papa got in the water with them. They loved climbing all over him.
The picnic was lots of fun, and baby Max slept through it all.
After the picnic, we all just came back to my parent's house to relax and watch the NASCAR race. Well, actually we are watching it right now. Well, I guess relaxation time is over, the kids are wanting a root beer float. Until tomorrow...
